The School Kabaddi League Federation is a part of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) for the development and promotion of kabaddi games and players in school years throughout India. The School Kabaddi League Federation has been authorized to impose Kabaddi League at different levels.

 

As the organization of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), schools tournaments allows School Players from all over the country to participate and show their talent. A recognized body by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, SGFI has its own constitution to fulfill its aims and objectives.

After hard work and efforts, SGFI has succeeded in getting the allotment to host the School Kabaddi League Federation under the guidance of the School Games Federation of India.

 The kabaddi is known for pro-activity, physical strength, presence of mind, team management, and understanding of the opponent’s strategy, which keeps the children mentally and physically strong. Kabaddi became a popular sport in school programs, like other sports’ games. It grabbed students’ interest and craziness among the children towards it.

It helps children develop essential skills like raiding, defending, and teamwork which are necessary for competing at a higher level.
